Ahok Gave Ultimatum to City Spatial Planning Dept

Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T Purnama giving a harsh warning to the City Spatial Planning Department. This is because there are still 13 plots of land for Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) project cannot be mapped.

“ I give ultimatum. What’s the problem? The plot mapping can be issued by National Land Agency if the plot has been measured ,” he said, at City Hall, Wednesday (8/12).

Meanwhile, the plot measurement itself is the authority of City Spatial Planning Department. "Mapping could be measured if the department issued the trace, all this time the worst performance is City Spatial Planning Department,” he uttered.

Aside that, Ahok firmly said that there will no longer counseling with local residents who refused the price offer over land acquisition from appraisal team. “Certainly, no more counseling,” he stressed.

According to him, those who refuse the land acquisition are always the same. Thus they will never give up for resident interest getting safe and comfortable public transport. 

Therefore, the city administration is currently waiting for the District Court's decision through consignment. “If they still neglect it, we will bring them to the realm of law. If there is decision from the court, we will do demolishment forcibly,” he asserted.
